This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Bag or Box (non card project) & why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I have a bit of an obsession with boxes. If hubby buys a pair of shoes, I'm sure that I get just as excited about the box as he does about its contents!  I've made an advent calendar with boxes instead of just 'doors' and I think I may have over-faced myself with this project.  I created it from scratch, firstly by cutting and assembling the 24 boxes and then making the folder to hold them.  I then decorated the outside and the fronts of the boxes with a number and a snowflake, Poinsettia or gems.  I think I'll be sticking to cards for a little while to recuperate from this project!  However, I loved making it and it fulfilled my obsession with boxes for a little while! :0)  Hop top my blog for more pictures.

I like making bags for gift giving.  I have several tools that help to make bags fun and so easy to make.

Elaine

I love making boxes. I think they make a good gift look great.

I love making boxes, because they are perfect for giving presents. I love it that you can make it the perfect size for the item that is inside the box. Decorating them is very fun.

I'd rather make a box than a bag as I think they are ideal for smaller presents such as jewellery and they are a lot stronger than a bag.

Usually I would say gift bag, however, I recently found this fabulous orb box and had to make one...it looks impressive but was really quick to make. You can find instructions here.

I love making boxes, there are endless variations on size, and it is so much fun
to make one tailor made for the gift it contains.  I think I have just about cracked
the square/rectangle, so maybe now it is time to be more adventurous!

I love to make boxes with little presents in them, like mini bottles of parfum, tealights, little cards, tags etc.
This one I made for a mini bottle of parfum.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase Your Favourite bag or box (non card) project (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy Christmas.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I've always loved donkeys. I was a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh as a youngster and Eeyore was my favourite. We also live fairly close a lovely donkey sanctuary and I love going there. They're such lovely animals, and despite many being treated fairly poorly they still love human contact and come running over to see you if you go to visit them.  I'd love to have enough land to re-home a couple of donks!  Maybe one day (and a lottery win!).

OK, I'm just going it say it, this is an impossible challenge.  I love animals, all animals (well almost all animals).  I guess for purposes of this challenge, I'm going to say bunnies. I love bunnies in real life and I love The Cat's Pajamas Bunny because he is always into something and he has such personality!

Elaine

I love lots of animals but hedgehogs are a firm favourite with my family. We used to go out in the evening to find them with our children when they were young.

Larissa

This was an easy challenge, because my all time favourite animal is a mouse. When I was young, my mother used to call me mouse and since then I really love mice (not the real ones though ;) ). I have collected all kinds of mice stuff like books, stuffed animals, cards etc. Now I really love making cards with a cute mouse on them. They are just so cute and tiny.

I love most animals, but my favourite has to be dogs. If they're like mine they can be so cuddly, affectionate and funny and be great companions.

I love all animals so decided to choose the animals that I share my life with (excluding a donkey...I couldn't find one with a horse, dog and cat!!)
I love ALL animals (animals I classify as having fur) and although my favourites are cats and squirrels, I could not resist using this quirky moose

So now it's over to you.

Your Favourite: Xmas Colour Combo (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Using Snowman Friends
I love pink at any occasion, but I think it's especially lovely at Christmas. I love the softness of this non-traditional colour with the white snow.

I love nontraditional Christmas colors and one of my favorite color combinations is soft blue, pink and green.  I love they way the mimic nature and just work so well with cute, girly images like Winnie.

Elaine

Using Winnie Winterland - Fairy Christmas
I make my Christmas cards in a variety of styles. One of my favourites is blue and white with a touch of silver. I love the fresh icy feel of winter.

Most of my christmas cards are made in the traditional christmas colours. I really love the combination of red and green. Red is one of my favourite colours and I love how it makes an image pop.

Lynne

using Winnie Winterland - Frosty the Snowman

I like blue and white and also this lilac and aqua combination. I think it's such a pretty combo and can be used for any occasion, but it also looks wintery for Christmas cards.

I usually stick to traditional colours for my own Christmas makes. There is just something about the holly leaf green and berry  red that makes me happy.

For me, it has to be the traditional red, green, and cream, I just love
the warmth and richness of them together, and it makes me feel cosy

Using Snowman & friends
I love the traditional Christmas colours red/green/white/cream. They give me a happy and nostalgic feeling.
